Job Description:

As a Waiter at The Albion, you will be an integral part of our exceptional service team. Your primary goal will be to provide our valued guests with an outstanding dining experience that exceeds their expectations.

Key responsibilities include:

• Greeting and welcoming guests with warmth and professionalism.
• Guiding guests through the menu, answering questions, and making recommendations based on their preferences.
• Taking accurate food and beverage orders and entering them into the POS system.
• Delivering orders promptly and ensuring the correct presentation and temperature of dishes.
• Providing exceptional table service by demonstrating knowledge of food and wine pairings, explaining dishes, and attending to guests’ requests.
• Anticipating guests’ needs and ensuring their satisfaction throughout their dining experience.
• Collaborating effectively with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service flow.
• Handling payment transactions and accurately closing guest checks.
• Maintaining a clean and organized work environment, including tables, dining area, and server station.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a waiter/waitress in a fine dining restaurant or upscale establishment is preferred.
• Exceptional knowledge of food and wine pairings, as well as a passion for the culinary arts.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Impeccable grooming and personal presentation.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong multitasking and problem-solving abilities.
• A positive and enthusiastic attitude with a commitment to providing outstanding service.
• Availability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
