Job Description:

As a junior Cook / Intern at The Albion, you will have the opportunity to work alongside our experienced and skilled culinary team, gaining valuable hands-on experience in a fast-paced, upscale restaurant environment.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Assisting in food preparation and production under the guidance of senior chefs.
• Learning and executing various cooking techniques and culinary skills.
• Ensuring the quality, presentation, and taste of all dishes meet The Albion’s high standards.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area.
• Assisting with inventory management and stock rotation.
• Collaborating with the team to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

Requirements:

• Culinary school education or relevant culinary training is required. We welcome passionate individuals with a strong desire to learn and grow.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to work well in a team environment, take directions, and learn from senior chefs.
• Passion for the culinary arts and a desire to develop culinary skills and techniques.
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to handle pressure in a fast-paced kitchen setting.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
